Gave these to my daughters race coach as an "end of season" gift. He LOVES them. I got the Hair-on-Hide version and had them laser engraved. He can't stop talking about them.

Bought these as a Christmas gift to myself, thinking they’d be my “special occasion” poles—you know, for cruisy days and spring laps with friends. Fast forward to mid-season? They NEVER leave my Rocket Box. These are the poles. Stronger, smoother, and that gummy cork grip? Perfection. The swing weight is dialed, and honestly, everything else feels boring now. Plus, they turn heads—everyone asks about them!

Only problem? I can’t leave them outside the lodge unless I want to find someone else skiing off with ‘em. They’re that good. Bambooz absolutely nailed it!

I got these Bambooz custom ski poles recently and I'm in love. They are incredibly well-made, have a heft and weight and balance that perfectly complement my skiing. I was interested in the built-in flasks and the customization I could do on the leather straps, but I'm even more impressed with how well they ski.

When I first got them, they felt a bit heavy in my hand (compared to my aluminum poles from Black Diamond), but from the first run on the first day, I didn't notice the weight in a negative way -- in fact, now my aluminum poles feel too light!

To the construction: the bamboo is gorgeous, a deep caramel coloring, with awesome snow baskets in a size that works great in the conditions I've skied, from powder to bumps to crud to groomed. The copper with the Bambooz logo is a gorgeous touch, adding a quality to the construction that makes them seem sturdy and bomber. The cork handles are great, very comfortable in hand and strong enough to knock off the crusty snow from the bottom of my kid's boots (8 year old - they still haven't quite figured out how to do it themselves 🙃).

The flask and the screw top cap at the top of the poles - they have a great feel to them, easy on/off, just enough space for a distilled Kentucky tonic when you need some liquid courage to help you send that wicked pillow line! I got the incredible Sasquatch edition, given that everyone calls me Uncle Squatch, and I couldn't be happier with the design - I feel so seen! 😂
